On Friday, March 20th we welcomed our grandson Hayden Patrick Jones into the world. He weighed 8 lbs 9.5 oz and measured 21 ¼ inches and as you can see he is just precious. What’s so neat about his birth is that he was born on his daddy’s, Danny, 30th Birthday. What an awesome perfect gift Tara gave Danny. Big Sister, Bronwyn just loves her baby brother. She likes to watch TV with Hayden right by her side. While we were visiting she made sure that his blanket was tucked around him. It was so cute to watch. She also proceeded to check out his bouncy seat...she must have wanted to see if it was comfortable enough for her brother. He truly is a blessing.
On Saturday, February 21st we celebrated Bronwyn's 2nd Birthday. It was so much fun because the theme was a Sock Hop. Tara made poodle skirts for all the girls and t-shirts with a guitar on the back for the boys. They played Pin the Cherry on the Sundae and danced like you would not believe. The kids all made their own sundaes, which they all enjoyed doing. They also had a photo booth. I wish we would have taken a group picture because it was so great to see all those girls in their poodle skirts...there had to have been at least 12 girls.

I was born in The Big Apple, New York City and raised in The City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. In 1969 my parents moved back to Puerto Rico, La Isla Del Encanto. After I graduated from High School I moved back to the USA where I started my family. I have a Son, Normando and a Daughter, Suyzel which have always been my inspiration. After years of being an Army Wife and living in Korea, Germany and a few different cities in the US, I packed three suitcases and headed to Colorado to start a new life with my kiddos. I have never looked back and have always trusted that God would take care of me and the kids...and that He has done. In August of 1998 I met the most loving, caring, kind hearted, considerate, amazing man...yes I met "Mr. Jones". Jim proposed in November and I would have married him right then and there but my dear Suyzel needed sometime to get use to the idea. ;) Some thought I had lost it but I knew he was the man for me.
I hope you enjoy reading about my family & I.
